
While it isn't the fastest printer we've tested, it still prints monochrome documents at a good speed of 19 PPM. That said, it's decent enough if you're just printing simple graphics, logos, or casual images. Unfortunately, if you're working in a field, like photography or print media, that requires very detailed photos and colors, this model isn't the best choice. However, the scan speed is a bit slow at 3 PPM, but it's still faster than doing it manually. It's especially helpful for double-sided sheets since you won't have to flip over each page manually. If you tend to scan lots of loose sheets, the automatic document feeder will help you process your multi-page documents. If you also need to scan for your job or studies, it has a flatbed scanner with lid hinges you can lift slightly to scan thicker items like textbooks or manuals. It's out of stock at our affiliate retailers, but you can still find it in stock at some other stores. This means you can print thousands of pages before you get close to running out of ink, which saves you lots of money.

This bulky model is a supertank, meaning it has four tanks that you refill yourself instead of using traditional cartridges that don't hold as much ink.
